Our weekly worship service is on Sunday morning at 10:15 a.m. September - June. In the summer (July - August), we celebrate a joint worship service with the Presbyterian Church in Morristown at 10:00 a.m.

The United Methodist Church of Morristown on the Green is a diverse congregation, thus the language for the service is intentionally inclusive. Sunday attendance averages 240 persons.

Each week the service incorporates one or more of the choirs of the church in the praise of God. The Pastoral staff is assisted by lay members of the congregation. Through the year, Laity and Youth are offered opportunities to lead the congregation in worship. Special services are scheduled to celebrate Christmas, Ash Wednesday, Holy Thursday and Good Friday. If you have any questions or concerns during our worship services, please feel free to ask an usher, or any member wearing a red name tag for assistance.

Fellowship time is offered after our Sunday services. This is an excellent opportunity to meet the members of the congregation and find out what's going on at our church.

Children in Worship

Children are welcome and encouraged to worship with us. Each worship service includes a children's message towards the beginning of the service. To help make worship an enjoyable experience for them, 'pew pals' and children's bulletins are available.

If you prefer, child care is available in the nursery for young children. Preschoolers ages 2-5 may go to room 22 for supervised activities.

Accessibility

The church is accessible to those with physical handicaps through the side entrance under the portico. An elevator also services all three floors of the building.

Large print and braille hymnals, large-print bulletins, and personal sound amplification systems are also available for those who desire them. Please see an usher.

Communion

Communion is celebrated the first Sunday of each month in our worship service. We practice an open table. All who love Christ our Lord and seek to grow into his likeness are invited to participate.

Baptism

The sacrament of Baptism is celebrated as needed. Please contact the Senior Pastor to arrange about Baptising your child.
